APPLICATION Procedure

ELIGIBILITY for joining the school
The school is open to all motivated scientists, of any nationality.
Applicants with little experience in the field should include a recommendation letter of their supervisor.

COST 2102 grants are available for up to 30 PARTICIPANTS (maximum of 600 EUROS for accommodation, living and travel expenses).

 

The grant will be attributed by COST 2102 INTERNATIONAL AWARD COMMITTEE composed by the following professors:

(a) Anna Esposito, Second University of Naples, Caserta and IIASS, Italy

(b) Eric Keller, University of Lausanne, Switzerland

(c) Anton Nijholt, University of Twente, The Netherlands;

(d) Klára Vicsi; Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Budapest, Hungary

 

12.1 ELIGIBILITY for COST 2102 SUPPORT

1.     COST 2102 supports up to 30 participants coming from COST 2102 Countries as listed on http://www.cost.esf.org/index.php?id=110&action_number=2102 PLEASE CHECK YOUR ELIGIBILITY.

COST 2102 support will be awarded according the following criteria:

a)      Participants will be awarded on the basis of their qualifications, their potential contribution to the school and to COST 2102 Activities, and the benefits that they may draw from the meeting for their future activities. To this aim, applicants should attach a letter justifying their request for support. Young scientists should attach a recommendation letter from their advisor;

b)      All supported participants are expected to remain for the full duration of the meeting;

Application form and abstract should be send by e-mail to iiass.segreteria@tin.it and to the award committee (iiass.annaesp@tin.it, Eric.Keller@unil.ch, anijholt@cs.utwente.nl, vicsi@tmit.bme.hu) no later than March 1 2008 .

Applicants will be notified of the amount of support and all supplementary information for joining the school by March 20, 2008.
